The working group will be responsible for the establishment and formulation of standards related to computing routing, and China Mobile will serve as the chairman of the working group.

Officials say this marks a milestone in the original technology system of China Mobile's computing network, with the intersection of computing and networking disciplines to form a broad international consensus.

According to reports, "Computational routing" realizes the joint optimization of computing and network by introducing computing power factor into the Internet routing system, and its essence is the innovation of IP technology, which has been proved to achieve about 30% performance improvement in global delay optimization and system processing capacity. At present, it has been supported by more than 40 mainstream operators, equipment manufacturers and universities around the world, such as France Telecom, Spain Telecom, Verizon, Huawei, Juniper and so on.
