"Cookie Run: Kingdom" (Gingerbread Kingdom), released by South Korean mobile game maker Devsisters, is a parkour game based on running Gingerbread Man IP. Before the launch of the game, Devsisters launched the parkour game "Cookie Run: OvenBreak" in April 2013 and the Sanxiao game "Cookie Run: Puzzle World" in November 2019.

As the latest work in the series, Cookie Run: Kingdom, which went on sale in January 2021, is a medium mobile game that combines multiple games such as parkour, decoration, collection and combat. In terms of paid items, the game uses a mixed profit model, such as season pass, subscription, card draw, limited gift package and advertising. Both the game content framework and the cash mode are the most mature works in this series, and they are also the most successful products in commercial performance.

According to intelligence data from the Sensor Tower Store, as of February 2023, the total internal purchase revenue of the "Cookie Run: Kingdom" app has exceeded US $400m (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 2.752 billion), with a total of more than 2700 downloads worldwide.

South Korea, the birthplace of IP, is the game's largest market, contributing 50 per cent of revenue. This was followed by the United States and Taiwan, accounting for 27.4% and 4.8%, respectively.

From the lovely painting style and content design of the game, it is not difficult to see that publishers focus on the female market. Sensor Tower user intelligence data show that "Cookie Run: Kingdom" accounts for more than 55% of female players, up to 59% on the iOS platform, and the total rating of players in both stores is close to 5 stars.

At the beginning of its debut in overseas markets, the number of monthly active users of "Cookie Run: Kingdom" once exceeded 7 million. At present, it is still at the level of about 4 million, which shows the lasting cohesion of the game to the core players.
