CTOnews.com March 29 news, according to the latest revelations shared by YouTube channel The Phawx, GPD is about to launch a Win Mini game handset. It is not a successor to the Win 4, but was developed as an alternative to the Win 2.

According to the source, the GPD Win Mini game handset uses a flip design with a size of 167x108x25mm when closed. This handset is 5mm wider and 9mm higher than Win 2.

As the handset is similar to the Win 2, it will be sold under the name "Win Mini". CTOnews.com learned from the The Phawx video that the handset is equipped with a 45Wh capacity battery, which is 12% larger than the Steam Deck. In addition, the GPD Win Mini will contain an approximately 7-inch display with a resolution of 1080p and a scale of 16:9.

The GPD Win Mini will also be equipped with a complete rocker design, front H1 and H2 programmable buttons and ergonomic backplane handles. Sources say GPD will launch Win Mini on Indiegogo in July and plans to deliver it by October 2023.
