Today, the Electric Power Construction Railway Company officially announced that the Yawan high-speed railway track has been completed, and significant phased progress has been made in the construction of the project, laying the foundation for the opening and operation of the whole line.

China Electric Power Construction is responsible for laying tracks on the whole Yawan high-speed railway. The main line is 279.4 kilometers, including 112.8 kilometers of ballastless tracks and 166.6 kilometers of ballastless tracks. The entire line adopts Chinese standard high-speed railway rails, using a total of about 38100 tons of rails. This is the first time that China has exported 50 meters of rail in large quantities to overseas markets.

The Yawan high-speed railway, which connects the Indonesian capital Jakarta and the tourist city of Bandung, has a total length of 142.3 kilometers and a maximum operating speed of 350km per hour. Construction began in June 2018, with four stations on the line. After the completion of the project, the travel time from Jakarta to Bandung will be shortened from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes, which will greatly improve local traffic conditions and promote the development of industries along the route.

As far as CTOnews.com knows, the high-speed EMU and comprehensive testing trains of Yawan high-speed railway are led by China Railway International Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., and organize the design and manufacture of China Railway Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., one of the members of the Chinese consortium of Yawan high-speed railway. This is also the first high-speed train exported in China.

The train adopts Chinese standard and is tailor-made for Yawan high-speed railway, with a maximum operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour, four moving and four dragging eight cars, relying on the advanced and mature technology of Fuxing Chinese standard EMU, adapting to Indonesia's local operating environment and line conditions, and integrating Indonesian local culture to improve adaptability.
