According to reports, with the opening of the memory overclocking function of the B series chipset and the increasing power supply of the motherboard, many users have chosen to use B660 and B760 motherboards with 13-generation core processors in recent years. However, in use, many people find that the default voltage of the motherboard is higher, resulting in CPU power consumption and calorific value is more obvious.

The power consumption of CPU is directly related to the load and voltage, and the higher the voltage, the higher the power consumption and temperature, so many people will try the lowest stable voltage when overclocking. Due to the lack of current overload protection of CEP, the performance of CPU will decline once the voltage is lowered. Therefore, in general, the 13th generation Core CPU used in the B-prefix chipset will have the problem of high voltage and temperature.

MSI said that a new feature will soon be launched for the B660 / B760 motherboard. To put it simply, this function will maintain or even improve the performance when the voltage of the CPU is reduced, and achieve the effect of not dropping the voltage.
