CTOnews.com, March 29, according to the latest list released by the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple recently obtained a design patent under the serial number US 11614108 B2. The patent does not cover digital devices such as iPhone and iPad, but travel accessories such as luggage straps and even design patents for shoelaces.

Apple says in its patent that straps have a wide range of uses in daily life, such as women's handbags, arm straps, straps used to secure items, and so on. Apple says traditional watch straps may require mechanical connections to attach them to objects, and may not be able to easily adjust the length and other attributes. More importantly, there will be difficulties in subsequent unbinding.

CTOnews.com learned from the patent that Apple introduced magnetic features at the connection points and then connected a variety of materials, such as metal, cloth and fiber, to secure the connection in a more flexible way.
