By 2025, more than 30 key standards for automotive chips will be formulated, covering general requirements such as environment and reliability, electromagnetic compatibility, functional security and information security, key products and application technical requirements such as control chips, computing chips, memory chips, power chips and communication chips, as well as vehicle and key system matching test methods, in order to guide and standardize automotive chip products to achieve safe, reliable and efficient applications.
By 2030, more than 70 related standards for automotive chips will be formulated, and there will be standard support in key areas such as foundation, general requirements, product and technology applications, and matching tests, so as to accelerate the healthy development of automotive chip technology and products.
The standard system of automotive chips includes automotive integrated circuits, discrete devices, sensors and optoelectronics and other components and modules. In order to ensure the readability and promotion of the standard system, the commonly used name "automobile chip" is adopted as the name of the standard system.
The overall construction idea: based on the automotive chip technology structure, adapting to the current situation and development trend of China's automotive chip technology industry, the automotive chip standard architecture is formed based on the general requirements of automotive chip application scene, all kinds of automotive chip application technical conditions as the core, automotive chip system and vehicle matching test as the closed loop.
The standard technical architecture of automobile chip takes the "application scene of automobile chip" as the horizontal starting point, including power system, chassis system, car body system, cockpit system and intelligent driving. Extend upward to form the technical specifications and test methods of automotive chips based on the requirements of application scenarios. According to the content of the standards, they are divided into three types of standards: basic general standards, product and technology applications and matching tests: basic general standards contain the common requirements of automotive chips. Based on the technology and application characteristics of all kinds of automotive chip products, the product and technology application standards are divided into several technical directions, and the requirements and corresponding standards are determined according to the maturity and development trend of China's automotive chip industry. the matching test standard includes the matching test verification of chip and system and the whole vehicle. Three kinds of standards work together to achieve full coverage of automotive key chips from device-module-system-vehicle technical standards in different application scenarios. The technical structure diagram of automotive chip standard architecture is shown in figure 1.
Fig. 1 Application scenario of automotive chip standard architecture diagram: the functional performance of chips varies greatly in different automotive parts systems and different work scenarios, so the standard system should fully consider the application scenarios of automotive chips. According to the main structure of the automobile, the application scene of the chip in the automobile is divided into power system, chassis system, body system, cockpit system and intelligent driving.
Basic general purpose: based on the application requirements of reliability, operation stability and security of chips in the automotive industry, the general requirements of automotive chips are extracted. it mainly includes four basic general performance requirements: environment and reliability, electromagnetic compatibility, functional security and information security.
Products and technical applications: according to the different functions, automotive chip products are divided into 10 categories: control chip, computing chip, sensor chip, communication chip, memory chip, security chip, power chip, driver chip, power management chip and other kinds of chips. then carry on the technical direction and standard planning for all kinds of automotive chips based on the specific application scenarios, implementation methods and main functions. Among them, the control chip includes the technical direction of general requirements, engine, chassis, etc.; the computing chip includes the technical direction of intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving; and the sensor chip includes, image sensor, infrared thermal imaging, millimeter wave radar, lidar, current sensor, pressure sensor, angle sensor and so on. Communication chips include cellular, direct connection, satellite, Bluetooth, wireless local area network (WLAN), ultra-wideband (UWB), Ethernet and other technology directions; memory chips include static memory (SRAM), dynamic storage (DRAM), non-volatile flash memory (including NOR FLASH, NAND FLASH, EEPROM) and other technology directions; security chips include general requirements and other technology directions Power chips include insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT), silicon carbide and metal-oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFET), drive chips include general requirements, power driver chips, display driver chips, etc. Power management chips include general requirements, battery management system (BMS) analog front-end chips, digital isolators, etc. Other types of chips include battery management system basic chip (SBC) and other technology directions.
Matching test: on the basis of meeting the general performance requirements of the chip and its own technical specifications, the automobile chip should also meet the requirements of matching with its parts system and the whole vehicle under the driving condition of the car. therefore, it is necessary to test and verify the matching between the chip and the system and the whole vehicle. Among them, vehicle matching includes two technical directions: vehicle matching road test and vehicle matching bench test.
Standard system (1) Architecture
According to the technical structure of automotive chip standard system, the performance requirements, functional requirements and test methods of all kinds of automotive chips in different application scenarios are synthesized. the standard architecture of automotive chip is defined as four parts: "basic", "general requirements", "product and technology application" and "matching test". At the same time, according to the similarities and differences in content scope and technical requirements of each specific standard. The four parts are further subdivided to form 17 subcategories with complete content, reasonable structure and clear boundaries (as shown in figure 2, the numbers in parentheses are system numbers).
