CTOnews.com, March 28 (Xinhua) Motorola's next flagship phone has appeared on the website of the Google Play Management Center. The Moto Edge+ (2023) phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and 12GB memory.

The device is expected to be the successor to the Moto Edge+ (2022) phone, which is on sale in the US market. The Edge+ (2023) phone will also be equipped with a FHD+ resolution display and will be pre-installed to run Android 13 and MyUX.

The Moto Edge+ (2023) is expected to be launched as a US version of the Moto X40.

CTOnews.com summed up the relevant configurations. The Moto X40 phone has a thick 8.59mm and weighs 197g. Officials say it uses a "12-fold variation of Gaussian curvature" design, offering two colors of ink black and tourmaline blue, with an aviation aluminum medium frame. Equipped with 6.7 inch 2400 × 1080 OLED hyperbolic screen, support 165Hz high brush 1 billion colors, as well as SGS double eye protection certification, HEV 4.92% ultra-low blue ratio, full DC dimming anti-screen flashing, screen fingerprint identification.

The Moto X40 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory, large cycle stereoscopic cooling system 2.0 and system scheduling engine MAXE, built-in 4600mAh battery, 125W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, 15W reverse charging, and IP68 dustproof and waterproof. Front 60MP center hole digging lens, rear 50MP master shot + 50MP ultra wide angle macro + 12MP portrait telephoto lens, support for high profile mode, auto focus tracking, night view mode, horizon locking, equipped with 4K HDR10 + image system and 10bit color management.
