CTOnews.com March 28 news, Apple announced in January this year that its weather application Dark Sky application stopped operating, but last weekend due to Apple client server errors, Dark Sky application briefly revived.

Fans of the Dark Sky app shared the app's restored screen interface on social platforms such as Twitter and Reddit.

The app displays hourly and weekly forecast information, real-time precipitation data and notifications. The only aspect of the app that hasn't come back online is the radar feature.

CTOnews.com has learned from follow-up reports that Apple made a tweak Monday morning and shut down the app's related services again.

Apple acquired the Dark Sky weather app in March 2020 and has since incorporated many of its features into pre-installed weather apps on iPhones, iPads and Macs.
