CTOnews.com, March 28 (Xinhua)-- Apple today released iOS / iPadOS 16.4 and macOS 13.3 system updates, introducing many improvements, including 21 emoticons. This update also introduces security patches and fixes more than 30 vulnerabilities.

According to Tu Yuan 9to5Mac's official update log, the iOS 16.4, macOS Ventura 13.3, watchOS 9.4 and tvOS 16.4 updates have fixed dozens of security vulnerabilities that may be exploited by hackers.

For example, hackers exploit a vulnerability in accessibility that could cause third-party applications to access information about user contacts. Another, more serious vulnerability may allow applications to access sensitive user data.

This security update also fixes vulnerabilities in Apple Neural Engine, Calendar, Camera, CarPlay, Bluetooth, Find My, iCloud, Photos, Podcasts and Safari applications and functions.

CTOnews.com learned from the official security update log that Apple has also fixed kernel vulnerabilities that allow hackers to execute arbitrary code without the user's knowledge.
