CTOnews.com March 28, Apple today pushed 16.4 firmware updates to Studio Display monitors, adding support for new Pro Display Calibrator features and improving stability.

CTOnews.com partners can connect the Studio Display to the Mac device to update the firmware version. Go to system Settings > General > Software updates to check for updates.

Added support for on-site recalibration of monitors using Pro display Calibrator. Enable a specific color workflow that may require custom calibration through an internal spectral radiometer.

The stability has been slightly improved.

Apple's Studio Display carries the A13 bionic chip, which was first launched with the iPhone 11 series in 2019. So far, Apple has released three firmware updates for the Studio Display.

Note that Studio Display firmware update 16.4 requires the Mac connected to the monitor to run the latest version of macOS Ventura 13.3.
