CTOnews.com, March 27, the openKylin community recently logged on to the Feiteng developer platform and launched its first joint technology section, the openKylin zone.

OpenKylin Zone is a technology zone jointly created by openKylin community and Feiteng developer platform on the basis of open source, voluntary, equality and cooperation, relying on the technical strength and open ideas of both sides, and through open and open source cooperation. The main purpose is to rely on the advantages of competitive system, share ecological resources, establish an ecologically compatible and efficient cooperation mode of software and hardware, and promote the ecological development of Linux open source technology and software and hardware.

The openKylin zone consists of open source components and documentation. The open source component section focuses on the UKUI project, a lightweight desktop environment based on Linux distribution developed and maintained by the openKylin community, which is mainly developed in the Qt language and is now used by default in the openKylin open source operating system and Galaxy Kirin commercial distribution. In the Feiteng developer platform, developers can directly access the community and Gitee platform of the UKUI project, learn about the first-hand resources and the latest technologies of the UKUI project, and participate in community SIG groups, project development, discussion and learning.

The documentation part is mainly the development tuning manual written by the openKylin community according to the characteristics of different instruction sets and operating systems. Developers can download relevant source code patches, view and download technical documents on Feiteng developer platform by registering Feiteng enterprise account. The "openKylin individual developer participation Guide" in the document helps developers unlock new ways of community participation. After signing CLA (Contributor license Agreement) review and approval, enterprises, employees and individual developers can submit their contributions to the community through git workflow. Developers who are willing to participate in community building can apply to join the corresponding SIG (special interest group).
