Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, March 27 (Xinhua)-- artificial intelligence is opening up new possibilities for the way people work, and many people are worried about the prospect of white-collar jobs. Ethan Morick, a management professor at the Wharton School of Business, recently amazed him by testing a number of prototyped artificial intelligence tools to see what they could achieve in 30 minutes.
The generating artificial intelligence tool can generate articles, pictures, sounds, codes and other content according to the user's text prompts. Professor Morick has been closely following the development of these tools, and he recently decided to use them to complete a business project, which he introduced on his blog "One Useful Thing" over the weekend. The performance of these tools is "superhuman", he wrote.
In just 30 minutes, these tools completed market research, targeting documents, email marketing, website construction, logo and "hero" design, multi-platform social media promotion, video screenplay and production, Professor Morick wrote.
The project involves promoting a new educational game. Professor Molick hopes that artificial intelligence tools can do all the work, and he is only responsible for giving instructions. He chose a game he created to evaluate the quality of his work. The game, called Saturn Fables, is a simulation game produced by Wharton Interactive that aims to develop leadership and team skills.
First, Professor Morick used the GPT-4-powered Bing search engine to let Bing learn about the game and the business simulation market, and then he instructed it to "pretend you are a marketing genius" and generate a document that "outlines an email marketing campaign and a web page to promote the game". In less than three minutes, Bing generated four emails totaling 1757 words.
He then asked Bing to outline the content of the page, including text and graphics, and use GPT-4 to build the site. He uses MidJourney, an artificial intelligence tool that generates pictures based on text prompts, to create "heroic images" (the big pictures that visitors to the site see first).
Next, he asked Bing to start a social media campaign and generated posts for five platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
Then he asked Bing to write a video script, using an artificial intelligence tool called ElevenLabs to generate real sound, and another tool called D-id to make a video.
By this time, the 30 minutes had run out. But Professor Morick points out that if he had the plug-in announced by OpenAI this week, his chatbot would be able to connect to email automation software and actually run email marketing campaigns for him.
Professor Morick wrote that if he did the work himself, he might need a team and "a few days".
CTOnews.com notes that white-collar workers may feel some anxiety when Bill Gates wrote on his blog this week that ChatGPT and similar tools "will become more and more like a white-collar worker who can help you with various tasks."
This fully demonstrates the potential and challenges of artificial intelligence in the business field. For those who want to use these tools to improve efficiency and creativity, this is an area worth paying attention to and learning. For those who are worried that their jobs will be replaced, this is also an area that requires vigilance and adaptation. In any case, artificial intelligence is changing the way we work, and we need to be prepared.
