The total length of track laying on the main line is about 298 kilometers. At present, ballasted track can be laid 1.5 to 2 kilometers per day, ballastless track can be laid 4.5 to 6 kilometers per day, and it is planned to complete the construction task of track laying along the whole line by the end of September this year.

In addition, in order to ensure the safe and smooth progress of track laying construction, the Hanbanan Railway Bid 6 Project Department of China Railway Fourth Bureau has invested 32 fixed group cranes, 6 mobile gantry cranes, 80 railway flat road vehicles, 1 WZ500 ballastless track laying unit, 1 ballastless tractor, 1 CPG500 intelligent track laying unit, large-scale maintenance tamping equipment and other intelligent track laying equipment. During the peak construction period, 7 track laying operation surfaces can be constructed simultaneously. More than 900 people work at the same time.

At the same time, CPG500 intelligent rail laying unit invested in rail laying can increase the mechanization degree by 90% compared with the traditional rail laying mode, reduce the dependence on the number of auxiliary operators by 63%, significantly reduce the number of auxiliary personnel, reduce labor intensity, save construction costs and shorten the rail laying period.

After the project is completed and opened to traffic, the shortest operation time from Bazhong to Nanchong and even Chengdu and Chongqing will be greatly shortened.
