CTOnews.com, March 27 (Xinhua) Android manufacturers, including Samsung and Xiaomi, allow users to set different dynamic wallpapers on the main screen and lock screen pages, while Google's Pixel phones still don't have this feature.

According to foreign technology media through in-depth mining of Android 14 Developer Preview 2 code, it is found that the Pixel tablet was the first to acquire this feature after upgrading Android 14.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that developer Mishaal Rahman found code on Android 14 Developer Preview 2 that allows users to set different dynamic wallpapers on the main screen and lock screen interface. The developer also activated the relevant code to show the enabled UI.

It's just that the feature hasn't worked yet, and clicking the button on UI still allows the home screen and lock screen to use the same dynamic wallpaper. Google may release this feature in the official version of Android 14.
