Google introduced an adaptive charging mechanism in 2020, which used to range from 5 a.m. to 10:00, but then changed to 3 a.m. to 10:00 If the user had not manually set the alarm clock before, the adaptive charging mechanism would not be enabled.

The description of the adaptive charging mechanism has been replaced by "fully charged according to your alarm clock after you get up" with "activated according to your phone's life cycle".
