On the day of its launch, the construction of the Jindu Yangtze River Delta intellectual property Center, with a total floor area of about 20,000 square meters, started at the same time. In the future, the intellectual property Operations Center of the semiconductor industry will carry out specific operations such as the navigation, investment, transaction and protection of intellectual property rights, to build a comprehensive platform for the integration of intellectual property innovation resources, the cultivation of innovation achievements and the realization of innovative value, regularly carry out patent transactions in the semiconductor field, cultivate high-value knowledge capital, and promote technology transfer and transformation.

CTOnews.com inquiry learned that on January 18 this year, the State intellectual property Office officially issued a document supporting the construction of the country's first semiconductor industry intellectual property operation center in Binhu District, Wuxi City.

Binhu District is an important part of the development of semiconductor industry in Wuxi. In 2022, the business income of Binhu District Semiconductor Industrial Cluster reached 10.53 billion yuan, an increase of 20.5% over the same period last year. The industry has developed into a relatively complete system group integrating application platforms, research institutions, product design, system integration, packaging and testing, equipment materials, supporting services and application categories. It is estimated that by 2024, the semiconductor industry in Binhu District will exceed 14 billion yuan, with an average of 20 semiconductor enterprises introduced annually.
