According to CTOnews.com news on March 26, Tesla once again offered free super-charging points to prospective owners of Model S and Model X in Canada and the United States, in an attempt to boost sales in the last six days of the quarter.

Tesla said that any new Model S / X customer who picks up his car before March 31 can get a free super-charging mileage of 10,000km in Canada and 10,000 miles in the US. It is reported that Tesla's free super charging points are valid for two years and cannot be transferred to the new owner.

This is the second quarter in a row that Tesla has proposed similar promotional measures. Last December, the carmaker also offered the service to would-be owners of Model 3 and Model Y.

In addition, Tesla offered discounts at the end of the year to attract users to pick up their cars before the end of the year, but Tesla cut prices sharply in the first few weeks of 2023, and users who picked up early seemed to suffer a bit.

Tesla delivered more than 310000 cars worldwide in the first quarter of 2022 and is expected to set a new delivery record this year.

In terms of actual distance, 10000 miles is more than the free charging mileage offered by regular activities, with a total value of about $500 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 3435 yuan), but different models charge different rates when charging in different areas, so there is no uniform comparison, but 10, 000 miles (about 16093km) is certainly more cost-effective than 10, 000 kilometers.
