At the same time, starting in 2024, smart will build the latest models equipped with high-level intelligent driving assistance systems based on NVIDIA DRIVE Orin system-on-chip (SoC).

Starting in 2024, smart will use NVIDIA DRIVE Orin as a centralized computing platform for the latest models, supporting the brand's self-developed smart Pilot Assist intelligent driving assistance system, bringing smarter assisted driving and a more reliable active safety product experience. At the same time, smart will work with NVIDIA to develop a new data center dedicated to intelligent driving, accelerate the development of high-level intelligent driving assistance systems and intelligent AI systems, and improve model training efficiency.

High-performance NVIDIA DRIVE Orin is designed for software-defined vehicles, enabling continuous optimization of intelligent driving assistance capabilities throughout the vehicle's life cycle through online OTA software upgrades. NVIDIA DRIVE Orin has 254 TOPS (CTOnews.com note: 254 trillion operations per second), which provides sufficient computing power for high-level intelligent driving assistance functions, confidence views, digital clustering and AI cockpit, and meets system safety standards such as ISO 26262 ASIL-D.

They are cooperating and steadily advancing the research and development progress. Previously, according to the release of smart China, from February 1 to 28,2023, a total of 3,616 units of smart spirit #1 were delivered in China. Since delivery began on September 23 last year, Smart has delivered a total of 15,998 vehicles in China.
