CTOnews.com March 25 news, according to liliputing, Ultra Cold Superior has partnered with notebook modularization provider Framework to launch a mini chassis that can install Framework motherboards.

According to reports, the top of the chassis, which will be launched soon, has a transparent design and its size is 297 x 133 x 15mm. The chassis supports a Framework-installed motherboard with integrated CPU, radiator, fan, laptop memory slots, and NVMe storage. The chassis also comes with the same four expansion card slots as the 13.5in Framework laptop, which allows users to expand out USB-A, USB-C, Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, and microSD interfaces.

For Framework modular notebook users, you can replace the upgrade of the old motherboard module into this mini-chassis to achieve reuse.

It is reported that the mini-case will be launched this spring at a price of $39 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 268 yuan)
