CTOnews.com, March 25 (Xinhua)-- AMD reiterated at this week's game developers conference that it will fulfill its promise of open source FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR3) technology.

AMD has not officially released many details about FSR3, but the official news team shared a press release, which CTOnews.com translated as follows:

FSR3 is the next generation sampling technology still under development by AMD, which integrates the super-resolution sampling technology in FSR2, integrates decades of research and development achievements and innovation of AMD R & D department, and introduces AMD Fluid Motion Frames frame insertion technology, which can increase the game frame rate by up to 2 times.

FSR3 will be available to developers in the form of a MIT license.

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) uses advanced optimization and upgrade technology, which can help improve the frame rate of some games without the need for users to upgrade their graphics cards, resulting in a high-quality, high-resolution game experience.
