Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues from track people! CTOnews.com, March 24, recently, Ericsson and MediaTek have successfully converged four carriers, including one frequency division duplex (FDD) carrier and three time division duplex (TDD) carriers, realizing the downlink rate of 4.36Gbps, which is also based on the highest known rate of this band combination.

This 4CC carrier aggregation (CA) increases the 5G deployment options for telecom operators by aggregating different frequency bands.

CTOnews.com Note: carrier aggregation, or CA (Carrier Aggregation), has the unique ability to combine multiple frequency bands and exponentially increase the Internet rate through multiple carrier bindings.

According to reports, in the Interoperability Development Test (IoDT), the two companies completed 5G data calls using one low-frequency band and three intermediate-band channels in the frequency range below 7GHz (FR1). Typically, most of the 5G data traffic is carried within this frequency range.

The higher throughput resulting from this 4CC carrier aggregation will enhance the user experience by providing faster download speeds and smoother video transmission for smartphone users and fixed wireless access users (FWA). For telecom operators, Ericsson's flexible carrier aggregation solution will enable them to maximize the use of available spectrum assets to provide high-quality 5G connections.
