CTOnews.com March 24, Canonical today released Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS maintenance update, added support for some recently released new hardware, and fixed a number of vulnerabilities.

Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS is the sixth and possibly the last maintenance update of the long-supported Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) operating system family. Canonical is committed to providing support for ordinary users until April 2025 and for enterprises that purchase ESM (extended Security maintenance) packages until April 2030.

CTOnews.com translated Graham Inggs as follows: "unlike the previously released maintenance version, the 20.04.6 maintenance update is a rerelease of the installation media for amd64 after the key has been revoked, and devices that support Secure Boot can reuse the maintenance update."

This means that if you want to deploy the Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) operating system on a new computer with Secure Boot enabled, you must download the new installation image.
