CTOnews.com March 24, Dell today upgraded the main portable 7000 series and 5000 series in addition to the Latitude 9440 business notebook. This update includes Latitude 7340, 7440, 7640, and Latitude 5340, 5540 and 5540 notebooks.

The 7000 series features new lightweight and aluminum designs, a 16:10 display, and a high-end 9000 series mini LED keyboard backlight option.

Among them, the Latitude 7340 and Latitude 7440 models use a two-in-one design, while the Latitude 7640, Latitude 7340 Ultralight and Latitude 7440 Ultralight use the traditional notebook style.

The Latitude 7340 offers Intel's 13th-generation processor choice, up to the Core i7 U-series processor that supports vPro, while the Latitude 7340 and Latitude 7640 offer both U and P-series options.

The Latitude 7340 and 7440 have a 14-inch screen, a new 5-megapixel webcam, and support for 5G networks.

The choice of ports is more diverse than that of Thunderbolt 9440, including HDMI 9440 support in addition to HDMI 4 and USB Gen 1.

The Dell Latitude 7x40 series will go on sale today in aluminum and ultra-lightweight versions, starting at $1676.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 11454 yuan).
