CTOnews.com, March 23 (Xinhua)-- Google recently launched the Bard chat robot and launched a public test earlier this week. However, Microsoft released Bing chat a few weeks ago and opened it to the public. So what does Microsoft think of this new competitor?

Earlier today, Mikhail Parakhin, head of Microsoft's advertising and web services department, answered a user's question on Twitter. The user asked him what he thought of Bard and whether he agreed with others that "its performance is astonishingly poor compared to Bing AI".

Parakhin replied that in his view, Google Bard lagged "far behind" compared with Bing chat. He added that it was "impressive" that they were able to achieve such results "given that they have very few computing resources" and that "they are about six months behind the most advanced level in core machine learning algorithms". We are "little guys" and we have learned never to underestimate Google.

CTOnews.com notes that one advantage of Bard over Bing chat is that it seems to have no limit on the number of chats per day or per round. Microsoft set these restrictions shortly after the release of Bing chat, which currently allows up to 150 chats a day and up to 15 chats per session.
