CTOnews.com March 23 news, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. applied for "EEG-based headrest system, control method and vehicle" patent recently announced.

CTOnews.com inquires the State intellectual property Office that the invention belongs to the automobile field and provides a headrest system, a control method and a vehicle based on EEG control. The pillow system comprises a flexible headrest part, an EEG signal acquisition module, an EEG signal processing module, a vehicle machine central control module and a plurality of vehicle equipment control modules.

Wherein, the flexible head and pillow is installed at the top of the main driving seat of the vehicle, and the EEG signal acquisition module is installed in the flexible head and pillow, which is used to collect the driver's EEG signals and transmit the EEG signals to the EEG signal processing module. The EEG signal processing module is used to obtain the control instructions from the EEG signals by using the preset strategy, and to transmit the control instructions to the vehicle computer control module, where different control instructions correspond to different vehicle equipment control modules.

The headrest system in this application combines the headrest on the vehicle with the EEG control technology, which can not only apply the EEG control technology to the vehicle, improve the intelligent degree of the vehicle, but also facilitate the driver to use and enhance the driver's driving experience.

Only from the perspective of patent application information, Changan Automobile's patent application can directly receive brainwave signals from the headrest on the car seat and control vehicle driving through brainwaves, which will bring a completely different intelligent driving experience for car owners.
