At present, most advanced intelligent driving functions can only be used in areas covered by high-precision maps. Due to strict supervision, the current coverage of high-precision maps is only expressway, expressway and some sections of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Chongqing.

At the same time, the collection and production of high-precision maps are complex. In order to ensure the "freshness" of maps to meet the safe use requirements of intelligent driving, maps need to be updated frequently. The collection workload is huge, and the tactics of "sea of people" and "sea of vehicles" cannot be avoided. High-precision maps cost several times more than navigation maps.

The latest Driver 3.0 released by Yuanjun Qixing has a more accurate perception system, which can perceive fine road information covered by high-precision maps, such as lane lines, traffic lights, road signs, warning signs, etc. Driver 3.0 can also locate the vehicle position in real time, accurately determine the lane where the vehicle is located and the distance from the next lane line. With the support of Driver 3.0, intelligent driving cars can be replaced with more cost-effective navigation maps, bringing a safe, reliable, free and coherent intelligent driving experience.

Based on Driver 3.0, Yuanjun launched D-PRO and D-AIR two intelligent driving products simultaneously.

D-PRO_All-domain high-level intelligent driving product, realizing the point-to-point intelligent driving function of the whole domain within the coverage range of navigation map. In addition to high-speed roads and expressways, D-PRO can also make route and driving decision planning autonomously in congested urban complex sections, and independently complete intelligent and safe driving operations.

D-AIR-Advanced assisted driving, focusing more on cost-effective requirements, with ACC, LCC, ILC, APA, AEB and other assisted driving functions, the market price is only 80% of the same performance and function products. At present, the hardware cost of D-AIR is RMB 7000 yuan, and the hardware cost of D-PRO is RMB 14,000 yuan. After being put into the market, both of them can be upgraded OTA, constantly unlocking new functions and continuously improving driving ability.

Yuanjun Qixing conducted generalization tests on D-PRO and D-AIR in 16 cities including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Hangzhou. D-PRO can actively find opportunities to overtake in congested sections of the city at night peak; at intersections with complex traffic flow, D-PRO can accurately sense the surrounding traffic participants in real time and complete difficult actions such as unprotected left turn.

Even at an asymmetric intersection without lane lines, D-PRO can still plan its own driving path under the guidance of navigation maps, play games with surrounding vehicles and pass efficiently.

For many car owners, the presence of non-motorized vehicles on the road is a more random factor. D-PRO is flexible enough to avoid bicycles running out diagonally from behind or laterally when driving in narrow sections where motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles mix.
