CTOnews.com March 22, LG Display now produces 27-inch, 32-inch and 34-inch IPS Black display panels with increased contrast to 2000 IPS Black 1, with a darker black color. According to tftcentral, LG Display also has a number of IPS Black display panels under planning.

49-inch 5120 x 1440 IPS Black panel, 32:9 ratio, 3800R curvature, 98% DCI-P3 gamut and 350Nit brightness, is expected to go into production in the second half of this year.

The 37.5-inch 3840 x 1600 IPS Black panel, with an aspect ratio of 24:10, a curvature of 2300R, a 98% DCI-P3 gamut and 300nit brightness, is expected to go into production in the first half of this year.

27-inch 5120 x 2880 IPS Black panel, Mini LED backlit, 1560 dimming areas, support for HDR1000, support for 98% DCI-P3 gamut, expected production in the first half of 2024.

The 27-inch 2560 x 1440 IPS Black panel is more affordable and is expected to be produced in the fourth quarter of this year.

At present, LG, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, AOC and other manufacturers have been equipped with IPS Black panel displays. Take the LG 27UQ850 monitor as an example, its contrast has been improved to 2mm 000lu 1m 4K 60Hz specification, with up to 98% DCI-P3 gamut and DisplayHDR 400 certified luminance. Officials say the 2000-contrast Nano IPS Black monitor supports more accurate black rendering, helping to improve more color details.
