The Institute of Traffic Management Science of the Ministry of Public Security recently organized and held five national standards such as "General Standard for Digital identity and Authentication of Road Traffic Control facilities", "General Standard for Digital identity and Authentication of Automobile connected with Intelligent Network", "Information Interactive Interface Specification for Road Traffic Control facilities", "Information Interactive Interface Specification for Road Traffic Management vehicle-Road Cooperative system", "General Standard for Electronic identity and Reading of Electric Bicycle" and other five national standards. Representatives of 18 participating units attended.

The meeting introduced the overall technical ideas and specific objectives of the five standards, and defined the division of tasks such as standard drafting and testing and verification and the next work plan.

The five national standards were declared by the Institute of Traffic Management Science of the Ministry of Public Security in June 2020. after several rounds of soliciting opinions and expert argumentation, the National Standardization Management Commission issued the third batch of recommended national standards plan notice (SAC [2022] No. 39) on December 13, 2022, formally agreeing to the establishment of the five standards. Participating in the declaration are China Information and Communications Research Institute, National Road Traffic Safety Product quality Supervision and Inspection Center, China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., Qingdao Hisense Network Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Haikang Weishi Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Gaode Software Co., Ltd., Shanghai Automobile Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Qianfang Technology Co., Ltd.

The five standards involve digital (electronic) identity management and digital certificate issuance of roadside traffic control facilities (such as traffic signal controllers, etc.), intelligent network connected vehicles and electric bicycles, and involve secure data exchange and trusted identity authentication between roadside traffic control facilities and intelligent network connected vehicles, traffic management information service systems and intelligent network connected vehicles. We will focus on solving the problems of cross-industry information sharing and safe interaction in vehicle networking, and promote and standardize the digital networking of local road management and control facilities.
