CTOnews.com, March 22, Intel officially issued an announcement announcing the appointment of Stuart Pann as senior vice president and general manager of Intel contract Manufacturing Services (IFS), replacing Dr. Randhir Thakur, the first general manager of the department, and reporting to Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger. Pann will drive the continued growth of IFS and its differentiated system foundry products that go beyond traditional wafer manufacturing, including packaging, small chip standards and software, as well as capacity in the United States and Europe.
