CTOnews.com, March 22 (Xinhua)-- truck online aftermarket retailer American Trucks surveyed the driving habits of 1000 US truck owners (500Android users and 500iPhone users) and found that iPhone truck owners are more likely to develop road rage than Android owners.

Truck drivers who use Apple's iPhone have nearly 20 per cent more negligent accidents than Android drivers. Android drivers are 15 per cent more likely to have accidents due to distracted driving than drivers who use iPhone.

Truck drivers who use Apple's iPhone know more about road signs and obey traffic rules than Android drivers.

Truck drivers who use Apple's iPhone are more likely to suffer from road rage than Android drivers.

Truck drivers who use Android phones are more likely to exceed the speed limit, run stop signs, play music or drive without wearing seat belts, while drivers using Apple's iPhone are more likely to text while driving.

Truck drivers who use Apple's iPhone receive more violations than Android drivers

Android and Apple users also have different preferences for their driving music. Android users showed a stronger tendency to rock and roll (59%), while Apple fans preferred pop music (55%).
