In addition, online services for these games will be suspended on December 8.

Among them, Battlefield Fengyun 1943 is an online game, but many other games can still use its offline features, such as single-player campaign mode.

In fact, EA has shut down a number of online services for games in the past six months, including Mirror Edge in January. CTOnews.com found that "Edge of the Mirror" was also included in today's announcement, but EA later clarified that it was a mistake, and it looks like the game is not far off the line.

Rebecka Coutaz, general manager of DICE, said last June that the studio had "no time" to work on non-battlefield projects because it wanted to make the IP a leader in the FPS market.

EA recently announced that DICE will work with Ridgeline Games to develop the next Battlefield single campaign, a new studio led by Marcus Lehto, co-founder of the Halo series. In addition, DICE is currently creating more multiplayer experiences for the Battlefield series.
