According to the financial report, Huya's total net revenue in the fourth quarter was 2.1022 billion yuan, compared with 2.8087 billion yuan in the same period in 2021. The net loss attributable to Huya was 524.4 million yuan, compared with 312.7 million yuan in the same period in 2021. Under non-Non-GAAP, the net loss attributable to Huya was 440 million yuan, compared with 241.7 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

For the whole of 2022, total net revenue was 9.2205 billion yuan, compared with 11.3514 billion yuan in 2021. The net loss attributable to Huya was 486.7 million yuan, compared with a net profit of 583.5 million yuan in 2021. Under non-Non-GAAP, the net loss attributable to Huya was 281.4 million yuan, compared with a net profit of 454.4 million yuan in 2021.

Fourth quarter and 2022 operating results: in the fourth quarter, the average MAU (average number of mobile monthly active users) of Huya TV's service was 85.5 million, compared with 85.4 million in the same period in 2021. In 2022, the average MAU of Huya TV's mobile service was 84.3 million, compared with 80.9 million in 2021.

In the fourth quarter, the number of paid households for Huya TV's service was 5.5 million, compared with 5.6 million in the same period in 2021. The average number of quarterly fee-paying households for Huya TV's service was 5.6 million in 2022, compared with 5.8 million in 2021.

Financial results for the fourth quarter: total net revenue was 2.1022 billion yuan, compared with 2.8087 billion yuan in the same period in 2021.

Of this total, the revenue of the live broadcast service was 1.9752 billion yuan, compared with 2.6129 billion yuan in the same period in 2021. Advertising and other revenue was 127 million yuan, compared with 195.8 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

The revenue cost was 2.3864 billion yuan, down 15.0% compared with 2.8077 billion yuan in the same period in 2021, mainly due to the decline in revenue sharing fees, content costs and bandwidth costs.

Revenue sharing fees and content costs were 2.1706 billion yuan, down 11.9 percent from 2.4631 billion yuan in the same period in 2021.

The cost of bandwidth was 99.5 million yuan, down 45.5 percent from 182.7 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

The gross loss was 284.2 million yuan, compared with a gross profit of 1.1 million yuan in the same period in 2021. The gross profit margin is about-13.5%, compared with about 0% in the same period last year.

Expenditure on R & D was 143.9 million yuan, down 30.0% compared with 205.7 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

Sales and marketing expenses were 113.2 million yuan, down 48.2 percent from 218.5 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

General and administrative expenses were 79.1 million yuan, down 12.6% from 90.5 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

The operating loss was 576.7 million yuan, compared with 457.3 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

The net loss attributable to Huya was 524.4 million yuan, compared with 312.7 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

Under non-Non-GAAP, the net loss attributable to Huya was 440 million yuan, compared with 241.7 million yuan in the same period in 2021.

The net basic and diluted loss per American depositary share (ADS) was $2.16, compared with a net loss of $1.31 per ADS per share in the same period last year.

Excluding Non-GAAP, the basic and diluted net loss per American depositary share (ADS) was 1.81 yuan, compared with 1.01 yuan per ADS in the same period last year.

As of December 31, 2022, Huya's cash, cash equivalents, short-term deposits, short-term investments and long-term deposits totaled 10.7492 billion yuan, compared with 11.0082 billion yuan as of September 30, 2022.

Financial results for the whole year 2022: total net revenue was 9.2205 billion yuan, compared with 11.3514 billion yuan in 2021.

Of this total, the revenue of the live broadcast service was 8.1959 billion yuan, compared with 10.1862 billion yuan in 2021. Advertising and other revenue was 1.0246 billion yuan, compared with 1.1652 billion yuan in 2021.

Revenue cost was 8.6096 billion yuan, down 11.7% from 9.7512 billion yuan in 2021.

The gross profit was 610.9 million yuan, compared with 1.6003 billion yuan in 2021. The gross margin was 6.6%, compared with 14.1% in 2021.

The net loss attributable to Huya was 486.7 million yuan, compared with a net profit of 583.5 million yuan in 2021.

Under non-Non-GAAP, the net loss attributable to Huya was 281.4 million yuan, compared with a net profit of 454.4 million yuan in 2021.

The basic and diluted net loss per American depositary share (ADS) was 2.02 yuan, while the basic and diluted net income per ADS share in 2021 was 2.45 yuan and 2.41 yuan, respectively.

Excluding Non-GAAP, the basic and diluted net loss per American depositary share (ADS) is 1.17 yuan, while the basic and diluted net income per ADS share in 2021 is 1.91 yuan and 1.88 yuan, respectively.
