According to CTOnews.com news on March 21, the General Office of Xi'an Municipal Government issued a number of measures to support the expansion of production and consumption of new energy vehicles in Xi'an, covering 10 measures in five aspects: production, sales, construction of charging facilities, and optimization of the use environment of new energy vehicles.

The "measures" stipulate that for pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid (including incremental) vehicles and fuel cell vehicles whose purchase dates are from January 1 to December 31, 2023 and have been listed in the catalogue of new energy vehicles exempted from vehicle purchase tax, the preferential policy of exempting vehicle purchase tax from relevant ministries and commissions of the state will be continued.

For the output increase of locally produced new energy vehicles in 2023 compared with 2022, each vehicle will be rewarded with a reward of 2000 yuan, and the maximum reward for each enterprise will not exceed 10 million yuan.

Subsidies will be given to consumers who buy new energy passenger cars and license them at above-quota automobile sales enterprises in Xi'an from March 21 to April 30, 2023. Among them: if the invoice value of the car purchase is less than 90,000 yuan (excluding), the subsidy is 2000 yuan per car; if the invoice value of the car purchase is more than 90,000 yuan (inclusive) and less than 200000 yuan (excluding), the subsidy is 4000 yuan per car; if the invoice value of the car purchase is more than 200000 yuan (inclusive), the subsidy is 6000 yuan per car.

During the period from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, the charging facilities for personal new energy vehicles that have been completed and passed acceptance will be subsidized by 10,000 yuan for one-time construction and electricity charges.

Traditional media / emerging media organize activities such as the entry of new energy vehicles into government organs, enterprises and rural areas, with a subsidy of 100000 yuan per event, up to a maximum of 500000 yuan.

We will support the optimization of registration, encourage automobile sales enterprises to set up motor vehicle registration service stations, provide one-stop services such as car purchase, tax purchase and listing, and waive license fees for newly registered domestic new energy vehicles.

New energy vehicles are supported to facilitate driving, and new energy vehicles with new energy license plates are not subject to traffic restrictions on the tail number of motor vehicles on weekdays. New energy vehicles are allowed to use the city's bus lanes.

We will support the implementation of parking concessions and encourage priority opening to new energy vehicles in the city's public parking lots, tourist attractions, shopping malls, properties and other management areas. New energy vehicles are parked in parking spaces on urban roads in accordance with the law, free of charge within 2 hours.
