CTOnews.com March 21 news, IDC released a report today said that in the fourth quarter of 2022, China PC monitor shipments were 6.76 million units, down 17.1% year-on-year.

According to the data, the shipment volume of PC monitors in China in 2022 was 25.83 million units, down 20.1% year-on-year; among them, the consumer market fell 8.3% year-on-year and the commercial market fell 27.6% year-on-year. Terminal demand is weak, and the whole industry chain is under pressure.

The report pointed out that it is difficult for China's PC monitors to rebound rapidly in 2023, and the concentrated release of demand will be delayed until 2024. IDC estimates that PC monitor shipments in China will be 26.18 million units in 2024, up 4.3% year-on-year.

In addition, in 2022, China shipped 3.93 million e-sports displays (refresh rate ≥144Hz), up 27.1% year-on-year. 420,000 e-sports displays above 165Hz were shipped, up 31.7% year-on-year, and 360Hz displays began to emerge.
