CTOnews.com Netflix vice president of games Leanne Loombe said on March 21 that Netflix plans to launch 40 more games in 2023 and 95 games by the end of the year.

The company began offering a large number of mobile games to Netflix subscribers via Android and iOS in late 2021. In an update posted Monday, Netflix said it currently has 16 first-party games in development and 70 more in partnership with third-party studios.

Loombe said: "This year we intend to continue to refine our game lineup, which means new games will be released every month. Subscribers will find indie favorites, award-winning blockbusters, RPGs, narrative adventures, puzzle games, and more. We're working with some of the world's leading studios to bring these games to you. "

Ubisoft plans to launch three exclusive games with Netflix, such as Mighty Quest: Rogue Palace, scheduled for April 18. Ubisoft launched Braveheart: Home in January and is currently developing Assassin's Creed Mobile Games and an Assassin's Creed TV series.

Netflix also announced that a sequel to one of its most popular games, Too Hot to Handle: Love is a Game, is being developed by Nanobit and is scheduled for release later this year.

According to Loombe, ustwo's Monument Valley series will hit Netflix in 2024,"starting with the first two series," and there will be more to come."

"While it's still early in development, I'm excited to share that Super Evil Megacorp (Vanity, Catalyst Black) is working with us on a Netflix exclusive game," she added.

In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Loombe also revealed more about Netflix's plans for cloud gaming services, saying,"We do believe cloud gaming will enable us to easily play games anywhere and provide a barrier-free gaming experience."

"But we do need to be thoughtful about how we do it and how we bring it to our members, so just like we're doing mobile games, we're going to take it slow and think about it from a learning perspective, but it's definitely in progress. "

CTOnews.com notes that filmmaker Zach Schneider has also just revealed that his Netflix space sci-fi movie Moon of Rebel will come with an RPG game, but it's unclear whether it will be distributed exclusively by Netflix.
