CTOnews.com, March 20, Rufus is a popular tool for creating Windows (or other operating system) installation media, and the newly released 3.22 Beta version is now available for download from GitHub with several significant changes and improvements.

Rufus 3.22 introduces the ability to disable automatic BitLocker encryption in the Windows user experience dialog box to personalize Windows 11 installation media along with existing installation options, such as removing requirements for 4GB memory, secure startup, TPM, and online Microsoft accounts.

Other changes to Rufus 3.22 Beta include support for SHA-1 and SHA-256 x86 acceleration on processors and the ability to keep logs between sessions. However, after using Rufus 3.22, Windows 7 users can no longer use this application to download ISO images.
