CTOnews.com, March 19 (Xinhua)-- during the recent domestic debut of Polar Star 3, the official announcement of the release plan of Polar Star 4, the new pure electric medium-sized SUV will be officially unveiled at Shanghai Auto Show on April 18.

Polar Star 4 is designed with a slippery back design and is expected to be developed on the same platform as Polar Krypton 001 and localized production in China. According to sources, the model will be delivered as soon as this year.

From the camouflage images exposed on the Internet, it can be found that in terms of styling, the Star 4 will continue the latest family design style, with simple body lines, C-column and D-column into the cross-border design, showing the posture of a sedan SUV. It is expected that the new car will use split headlights and a through LED light source will be introduced at the rear.

Although information about Polar 4 is limited, CTOnews.com speculates that the vehicle may be slightly shorter than Polar Krypton 001 on the same platform, but with a similar wheelbase. In terms of power, the Polar Star 4 may be the first dual-motor all-wheel drive model, and is expected to launch a long-range and high-performance version in the future. The mileage of the WLTP is expected to reach about 600km.
