At the same time, the long March 2 F Yao 18 rocket has passed the review and is about to begin its final assembly.

Two "divine arrows" will be launched together, and two Shenzhou manned spacecraft missions will be carried out this year, playing the song of struggle.

According to public information, the long March II F carrier rocket, also known as the long March II carrier rocket (abbreviated as Chang 2F or Chang Erji, abbreviation: CZ-2F or LM-2F), also known as "Divine Arrow" (named by Jiang Zemin), is the latest improved model in the long March II family, which is mainly used to launch Shenzhou series manned spacecraft.

Long March II F began to be developed when China's manned space program was launched in 1992, on the basis of the long March II bundled rocket, a carrier rocket developed in accordance with the requirements of launching a manned spacecraft, launched for the first time on November 20, 1999 and successfully sent China's first experimental spacecraft, Shenzhou-1, into space.

The rocket is a two-stage bundled rocket, which is composed of four liquid boosters, a core-stage rocket, a core-stage rocket, a fairing and an escape tower (excluding the launch space station). It is currently the longest rocket in China, with a safety performance of 0.97.

It is worth mentioning that the long March II F is also China's first carrier rocket with a "three-vertical" test launch mode with vertical final assembly, vertical test, and vertical transportation. since its maiden flight, it has been launched from the manned space launch site of China's Jiuquan Satellite launch Center.

According to previous reports by CTOnews.com, the long March 2 F Yao 15 rocket launched the Shenzhou 15 manned spaceship on November 29, 2022, sending three astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu into space; Yao 14 rocket launched the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft on June 5, 2022, carrying Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe.

If nothing happens, the next Yao 16 rocket will launch the Shenzhou 16 manned spacecraft from the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center, which is expected to be launched around May, while the Yao 17 rocket may send the Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft into space around October.
