The abnormal shutdown fault of the secondary swimming machine is located in the mismatch of the stiffness of the connection between the oxygen conveying pipe and the low-pressure shell of the oxygen pump, the insufficient strength margin of the low-pressure shell, and the rupture of the low-pressure shell of the oxygen pump under the action of the water hammer of the main machine. cause abnormal shutdown fault.

In view of the cause and mechanism of the fault, Blue Arrow Aerospace has taken a number of improvement measures to improve the structural safety factor and reduce the impact of water hammer. The improvement measures are proved to be effective through simulation analysis and ground test, and can meet the flight requirements.

In the follow-up, Blue Arrow Aerospace will fully start the final assembly and test of the Vermilion Bird-2 remote launch vehicle, quickly implement fault improvement measures, and closely organize the re-flight of Vermilion Bird-2, so as to ensure that the follow-up launch mission will continue to be a complete success.
