On the morning of March 18, Beijing time, Meta reportedly launched a Twitter-like pay-plus "Blue V" service for its Facebook and Instagram in the United States on Friday, with a monthly web fee of $11.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 83 yuan), while iOS and Android platforms are $14.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 103 yuan), in order to explore revenue sources other than advertising.

Last year, Twitter launched a paid Blue V certification service after it was acquired by Elon Musk, opening to the public the blue logo, which had previously been limited to politicians and other public figures, for a monthly fee of $7.99 (CTOnews.com Note: about 55 yuan) and $10.99 for iOS in response to "Apple tax" (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 76 yuan).

But since then, a large number of Twitter users have posed as celebrities and brands on the platform, forcing the company to suspend the service and reintroduce different color certifications for individuals and public figures.
