CTOnews.com, March 18, according to Pulse News, Samsung recently merged two R & D facilities in Yokohama and Osaka to create an integrated R & D center called DSRJ in Japan. It is reported that the new center is located in Samsung Yokohama Research Institute.

Samsung said the main reason for the merger of the two R & D centers is the rapprochement between South Korea and Japan, where it hopes to build a new semiconductor and display R & D center.

CTOnews.com also learned from the report that Samsung has also set up a new comprehensive research center for Device eXperience, the device experience department, in Japan under the name of "Samsung Research Japan". Samsung hopes to enhance its comprehensive development capability by reorganizing its R & D facilities related to device solutions.
