CTOnews.com news on March 17, Dongguan held the start ceremony of the first major projects in 2023, and revealed that Dongguan BYD New Energy vehicle key parts project has started construction in Xiegang Town, Dongguan in the first quarter of this year.

According to the renderings of the key parts project of BYD New Energy vehicles in Dongguan, BYD has invested 6.5 billion yuan to build 11 factories and 7 dormitories in Dongguan, and related production equipment and ancillary facilities will be invested in the follow-up. The BYD project, which is mainly used for R & D, design and production of new energy vehicle engines, is expected to be completed in 2024 and will bring BYD an annual output value of about 17 billion yuan.

It is worth mentioning that CTOnews.com inquired about BYD's official information that, in addition to the key parts project of New Energy vehicles in Dongguan, BYD also invested in the New Energy vehicle Comprehensive Test Farm project in Nanning, Guangxi, in Baoji, Shaanxi Province, and the New Energy Automobile Core parts Industry Park project in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province.
