According to reports, "1/2" is a dystopian visual novel + chess game: black and white, perceptual and rational, freedom and order, follow your beliefs, join your camp.

Officials say the art style of "1/2" is so unique that all the UI and characters in the game show an opposing intention. There are nearly 100 characters and more than 400 CG or story pictures in the game. Each of the twelve characters has set up a regional plot, which will present a large number of story pictures in a way similar to the interpretation of cartoons.

There are more than 30 level maps in the game, including moving in underground railways, wilderness, urban areas and so on. In the first half of the game, players need to constantly unlock the character plot, while customs clearance is less difficult, partial guidance of the plot level. In the second half of the game, after the player has collected 12 characters, the player is free to assign characters to form a team, clear 28 challenge levels, and unlock more subsequent plots and game achievements in the challenge level.
