Satskofer is explaining why OpenAI no longer provides detailed information on how to train these models.

"as the performance of artificial intelligence continues to improve, there is a reason not to disclose them," he said in an interview. "I am sure that within a few years, everyone will know very well that it is unwise for artificial intelligence to open source."

Sam Altman, chief executive of OpenAI, has expressed similar views in the past.

In an interview earlier this year, Altman said that while the best-case scenario in terms of artificial intelligence is "so good that I can't imagine it", the worst-case scenario is to "shut us all down".

Last month, Altman tweeted that he thought artificial intelligence tools could help people become more efficient, healthier and smarter, but added that the world may not be that far away from scary artificial intelligence tools. so it's "critical" to regulate them.
