CTOnews.com March 16 news, Microsoft will hold a large artificial intelligence event tonight, but one of the event content has been leaked. Twitter user h0x0d exposed details of a PowerPoint Copilot feature that appears to use artificial intelligence similar to ChatGPT to create presentations for users.

PowerPoint Copilot appears in the sidebar of the online version of PowerPoint, and users can ask the smart assistant to create a presentation from a Word document. PowerPoint immediately drafts a presentation that generates complete slides based on the contents of the Word document provided.

CTOnews.com notes that there are even options for Copilot Assistant to "add animation to this slide" or "apply modern style to presentations," suggesting that users can also use this chatbot to control PowerPoint features, which allows PowerPoint users to make slides without having to know how to use some of the more complex features.

Microsoft will hold its special "Reshaping Productivity with AI" event today at 8 a.m. Pacific time (0 p.m. Beijing time tonight), hosted by CEO Satya Nadella and Microsoft 365 head Jared Spartaro.
