CTOnews.com, March 16, CTOnews.com learned from the official website of the China Consumer Association that the China Consumer Association's special survey report on the consumption of new energy electric vehicles and the use of public charging piles shows that the price and settlement accuracy of new energy vehicle charging piles need to be further improved. More than 70% of the interviewees want to unify the charging rates for charging facilities.

The results show that:

First, domestic new energy vehicles are welcomed by consumers, and the useful life of consumer vehicles is less than 3 years.

Second, the interviewees generally recognize new energy vehicles, and those who use their own charging piles and have a short charging time are highly recommended, and the satisfaction of owners of their own charging piles is higher than those who choose other charging methods.

Third, the charging distance and waiting time of public charging piles are generally short, which improves the charging convenience, but the community coverage survey results of public charging piles fed back by interviewees from different channels are different.

Fourth, the charging pile safety, settlement convenience satisfaction is high, the satisfaction is more than 80%, the charging price and settlement accuracy need to be further improved.

Fifth, the charging App brand is scattered, and the recommendation degree of different brands is significantly different, and the recommendation degree of each brand charging operator is basically proportional to the net recommended value.

Sixth, the charging pile repair timeliness, service response satisfaction is relatively high, satisfaction are more than 78%.

Seventh, the popularization rate of new energy vehicles and charging pile policy is high, and consumers support the development of new energy vehicles as a whole.

Eighth, consumers expect charging to be time-saving, money-saving and convenient, and the acceptable time and price for a single charge are less than one hour and less than 30 yuan respectively, and it is expected to install fast charging piles as far as possible, and the location of charging piles is more convenient.

Ninth, there are no fixed parking spaces, limited sites, property is not allowed or not to cooperate, infrastructure is not mature and so on are the main pain points of charging pile installation.

The survey shows that more than 70% of the respondents do not precharge, and generally want to unify the charging rate; few sites, difficult to find, and insufficient piles are the main pain points for charging; nearly 60% of the respondents often encounter damage or failure of charging piles; and the experience of using App / Mini Program is still insufficient.

Combined with the investigation of the relevant situation, the China Consumer Association put forward six suggestions: first, reasonable evaluation of charging facilities, scientific layout of charging pile construction. The second is to improve the electricity price regulation mechanism and improve the accuracy of settlement. The third is to strengthen key technologies to improve charging efficiency and battery life. Fourth, strengthen daily operation and maintenance services to improve the convenience of charging. The fifth is to solve the problem of pile source being occupied and reduce the waste of charging resources. Sixth, strengthen the supervision of the industry to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
