The new product is based on Stevie's SmartClarity-2 technology and SFCPixel patented technology, using BSI process combined with large target surface design, greatly improving the sensitivity of the product. At the same time, SC880SL is equipped with Stevie near infrared sensitivity NIR + technology, which can achieve excellent night vision imaging performance even in ultra-low light environments. In addition, with the help of Stevie process and ultra-low noise peripheral reading circuit, the high temperature imaging performance of the product has been greatly improved, supporting 4K night vision full-color images.

Based on the BSI process, Stevie's newly launched SC880SL uses a 1.2" large target design with a larger photosensitive area per pixel (CTOnews.com Note: 8MP, 2.988 μ m) and can present a brighter image with clearer details in a dark light environment. According to tests, the SNR1s of SC880SL is smaller than that of 0.2lux, which can achieve dark light imaging performance comparable to that of Stack process image sensors.

Compared with the same specification Stack process image sensor in the industry, SC880SL full-well electronics greatly increased by 33%, the maximum signal-to-noise ratio increased 2dB, and supported excellent dark light imaging performance in the field of security intelligence.

The Stevie super star grade large target image sensor SC880SL is equipped with near-infrared sensitivity NIR + technology, and the quantum efficiency of QE can reach 38% in 850nm band and 24% in 940nm band. Excellent night vision imaging performance can be achieved even in ultra-low light environment.

Stevie further improves the imaging performance of CIS in high temperature application scenes. Through process upgrade and optimization, SC880SL upgrades the barrier layer SiN used for CT etching from traditional material to high stress SiN film, which greatly improves the imaging quality of products at high temperature. At the same time, the generation of dark current and white spot is greatly suppressed by Stevie's ultra-low noise peripheral reading circuit technology. Compared with the previous generation of technology products, the dark current of the SC880SL is reduced by 35% and the DSNU is greatly reduced by 50%, so that the camera can output high-quality images even in a high temperature environment. In addition, SC880SL can also support dynamic row overlapping HDR (Staggered HDR) image output, and the dynamic range can be increased to more than 100dB.
