CTOnews.com, March 16 (Xinhua): there are a large number of development boards for standard raspberry pie on the market, either with stronger performance, richer ports or cheaper prices. These raspberry pie development boards mainly use low-end processors of brands such as Rockchip or Mediatek.

French company MakeMyBoard recently launched a development board called Thunderberry5, which claims to be "the first SBC based on Qualcomm AI-CPU and similar to raspberry pie" (the first Raspberry Pi-like SBC based on Qualcomm AI-CPU).

The development board uses Qualcomm Snapdragon QCS610 octcore chip, including 2 Gold cores with 2.2GHz clock rate and 6 Silver cores with 1.8GHz clock rate.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the graphics part uses 845MHz's Adreno 612, with 4GB's LPDDR4 memory and 64GB's eMMC 5.1 storage, and supports Android 10 or Yocto embedded Linux distributions.

The price and release date of the SBC have not been officially announced.
