CTOnews.com March 16 news, Samsung announced today that it has ranked first in the global TV market for 17 years in a row, and ranked first in the bar speaker market for nine years in a row.

Samsung Electronics accounted for 18.4% of shipments and 20.2% of revenue in the global bar speaker market in 2022, citing data from market research firm FutureSource. Samsung Electronics has remained number one since 2014.

Kim Chul-gi, vice president of Samsung's visual display business, said: "We are doing our best to meet consumers' expectations of bar speakers and try to make them a reality."

CTOnews.com also learned from the report that the global bar speaker market has been growing steadily by about 5.7% over the past three years, shipping 23.16 million units in 2022 and is expected to grow to about 26 million units by 2025.
